Druids regard nature above all else, and they obtain spells and other magical powers from nature itself or from the gods of nature. Unlike those who serve the gods of wilderness, animals, druids prefer to continue to pursue their own spiritual links to nature. The ancient Druid tradition is sometimes called the Old Faith, which is not the same as worshipping gods in temples or holy places.
The druid's spells are derived from the forces of nature and animal fangs and claws, the sun and the moon, or fire and storm. Druids also have the ability to change into animal form, and some are so good at it that some of them prefer to maintain their animal form more than to return to their original form.
